BARRAMUNDI - AUSTRALIA'S GREATEST SPORTING CATCH

Barramundi are a nomadic fish species that wander throughout Awoonga's water spectrum. Moving daily, as well as seasonally, barramundi travel within the confines of the lake in search of favourable conditions such as comfortable temperature zones as well as potential food sources and hunting areas. Being the apex predator in the system, impoundment barramundi can develop some of their own traits that relate to their authorative position, very unlike that of their cousins in the saltwater.

Barramundi can be caught during all 12 months of the year, varying from daylight angling, dawn or dusk, as well as all night fishing sessions.
